If you’re a kid who loves video games, having the latest must-have release is beyond exciting.

So for the launch of Mario Super Sluggers we created a TV spot that showed two classmates, who could think about nothing else.

And to tap into the excitement and keep the conversation going online we created MarioSuperSluggersCards.com, a digital album that allowed kids to collect baseball cards hidden online and use them to unlock hidden game footage, special features and more. The result was a conversation that lasted for months. Game knowledge became school yard currency as kids bragged about the cards they’d found and what they knew about the game. Over 500,000 cards were collected, the site’s forum overflowed with over 30,000 posts and Sluggers became the one game kids couldn’t stop talking about.
